DISCOVER OUR VISION

What If She Could See What's Possible?

Girl, Yes You Can! is rooted in a simple belief: Sometimes the difference between “I can't” and “maybe I can” is opportunity, exposure, encouragement—and someone who believes in you. We are creating spaces where women and girls can see possibility in themselves, discover pathways forward, and experience the power of sisterhood.

Rooted in Sisterhood. Rising Together.

See the Vision

Imagine October 1, 2027. A young woman steps onto the campus of Solano Community College. She is welcomed. She explores. She discovers careers and educational pathways she may never have considered. She meets women whose lives expand her understanding of what is possible. And somewhere during that experience, she begins to imagine something different for herself.

Watch the vision come to life.

More Than One Day.

  • Connect with one another.
  • Discover educational and career possibilities.
  • Learn skills that strengthen their futures.
  • Meet mentors, leaders, and women from different generations.
  • Access information and resources.
  • Experience belonging.
  • See themselves differently.

“Because inspiration matters. But what happens after someone becomes inspired matters even more.”

Everything We Build Comes Back to Five Pillars.

SISTERHOOD

We create connection because women and girls should never have to navigate possibility alone.

LEADERSHIP

We help women and girls recognize that leadership begins with understanding the power of their own voice.

FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT

We create opportunities to strengthen financial knowledge, confidence, and economic possibility.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

We expose women and girls to education, college, careers, pathways, and lifelong learning.

WELLNESS

We recognize that rising requires caring for the whole woman—mind, body, and spirit.

From Girls to Elders—We Rise Together.

One of the most important parts of the Girl, Yes You Can! vision is bringing generations together.

A teenager may meet a college student. A college student may meet a professional. A woman considering a new beginning may meet someone who once stood exactly where she stands. An elder may share wisdom that would otherwise be lost.

And each woman has something to give and something to receive.

That's what Rooted in Sisterhood. Rising Together. means.

Why the Butterfly?

The butterfly represents transformation—but transformation doesn't happen all at once. It begins quietly. With possibility. With courage. With becoming.

Throughout the Girl, Yes You Can! vision, the butterfly serves as a reminder that women and girls are not limited to where they are today.

There is always room to grow.
There is always another possibility.
There is always another chapter.

What Role Will You Play?

Some will come to learn. Some will come to lead. Some will come to mentor. Some will volunteer. Some will open doors. Some organizations will bring resources, expertise, opportunities, and relationships. And some women will simply show up for another woman.

There is room in this vision for all of us.

Girl, Yes You Can!

Rooted in Sisterhood. Rising Together.
