Whether you’re coming with someone you know or walking through the door on your own, you are welcome here. It’s completely okay to come alone. In fact, many women may arrive not knowing anyone yet. You won’t be expected to figure out where to go, who to talk to or what to do. We’ll welcome you, help you get settled and introduce you to the GYYC experience.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
COMING ALONE? YOU WON’T BE ALONE FOR LONG.
You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive. You don’t need to be outgoing. And you don’t need to have everything figured out. Just come as you are. We’ll take it from there.
NO PRESSURE. JUST COME AS YOU ARE.
Orientation isn’t a test, an interview or a networking event. You won’t be asked to share anything personal that you don’t want to share, and you don’t need to arrive knowing exactly how you want to be involved. This is simply your chance to meet us, experience GYYC, ask questions and see what feels right for you. Come curious. Come quiet. Come excited. Come nervous. Just come.
